A New York-based Data Engineer will join Bernstein’s Regulatory Technology and Control group to transform high-volume equity trading data for regulatory reporting and trade recordkeeping. The role uses Azure Synapse, Apache Spark, and Delta Lake to ingest, transform, and store data, and includes migrating legacy SQL Server processes to the new Azure data platform. You’ll improve regulatory reporting, work with compliance to deliver accurate, timely data to regulators, and collaborate with Equity trading teams to validate CAT reporting. The position is hybrid with at least 3 days in the office and offers opportunities to learn CAT Reporting and cloud-based data technologies.
