This role blends quantitative analysis with prototyping to support the development of new data-driven products and proof-of-concept models. You will operate as a central point of contact for subject matter experts across Data Engineering, Development, Quant, and PMO, and act as a first-line source of insights from Parameta’s market data assets. The role involves informing product strategy, identifying commercial opportunities, and communicating complex analytics to both technical and non-technical audiences while staying abreast of industry trends.

The TP ICAP Group is a world leading provider of market infrastructure.

Our purpose is to provide clients with access to global financial and commodities markets, improving price discovery, liquidity, and distribution of data, through responsible and innovative solutions.

Through our people and technology, we connect clients to superior liquidity and data solutions.

The Group is home to a stable of premium brands. Collectively, TP ICAP is the largest interdealer broker in the world by revenue, the number one Energy & Commodities broker in the world, the world’s leading provider of OTC data, and an award winning all-to-all trading platform.

The Group operates from more than 60 offices in 27 countries.  We are 5,300 people strong.  We work as one to achieve our vision of being the world’s most trusted, innovative, liquidity and data solutions specialist.

About Parameta Solutions

Parameta Solutions is a leading global provider of OTC market data. From pre to post trade, our solutions help clients manage complex markets more effectively.

Matching buyers and sellers, we create liquidity and price discovery in these markets and provide insight and context to our clients. Our clients include banks, insurance companies, pension and hedge funds, asset managers, energy producers as well as risk and compliance managers and academic institutions.

Role Overview:

Parameta Solutions is seeking a Product Analytics Manager to join the Product Analytics team, with a focus on the Energy & Commodities asset class. This role blends quantitative analysis with prototyping capability to support the development of new data‑driven products and proof‑of‑concept models.

The successful individual will operate as a key member of the Product organisation, acting as a central point of contact for subject matter experts across Data Engineering, Development, Quant, and PMO teams. You will also serve as a first‑line source of insights derived from Parameta’s extensive market data assets.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with Product Managers across OTC market data, Benchmarks & Indices, Risk & Regulatory Solutions, Trading Analytics, and Energy & Commodities to design and prototype data‑driven products.

  • Provide actionable feedback to Product, Quant, and Engineering stakeholders to inform product strategy, prioritisation, and execution.

  • Partner with Product and Sales teams to identify and assess new commercial opportunities.

  • Act as a data “hunter” by discovering, sourcing, and analysing datasets—from indicative pricing to transactional flows—across internal and external systems.

  • Work with central TP ICAP Group functions (IT, Analytics, Operations) to obtain data and services that enhance Parameta’s product suite.

  • Communicate complex statistical, analytical, and technical concepts clearly to both technical and non‑technical audiences.

  • Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and innovations in data science, analytics, and financial markets.

Experience & Competencies

Essential

  • Demonstrated academic background in a STEM discipline, Mathematics, or Financial Engineering; familiarity with derivatives pricing is advantageous.

  • Programming experience in Python and/or SQL, with a willingness to further deepen technical skills.

  • Foundational understanding of OTC derivatives and cash products—particularly within Interest Rates, FX, Energy derivatives, Fixed Income, and Credit—including structure, pricing basics, trading conventions, risk management, and market data use cases.

  • Understanding of core data engineering and data‑cleansing practices.

  • Effective written and verbal communication skills; experience drafting technical or functional requirements is desirable.

  • Ability to prepare presentations and explain analytical concepts to non‑technical colleagues.

Desired

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and thrive in a fast‑paced commercial environment.

  • High energy, adaptability, and resilience.

  • Solid interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams and stakeholder groups.

  • Problem‑solving capability: able to analyse issues, propose solutions, and execute effectively.

  • Comfortable navigating evolving requirements and adjusting approaches accordingly.

  • Proven ability to build and sustain strong cross‑functional relationships.

Band & Level

  • Professional / 5
