It is a world-leading provider of OTC market data, offering unbiased data products that facilitate trading, enhance transparency, reduce risk and improve operational efficiency. We help clients to make more efficient investment, portfolio analysis, valuation, risk management and compliance decisions. 

Rigorous quality assurance processes ensure the integrity and robustness of our products, which include pricing, reference data and analytical tools for major asset classes and markets. Our offering includes real-time price information from the major OTC financial and commodity markets delivering high quality independent data in a number of asset classes including Rates, FX and Money Markets, Volatility, Oil, Energy, Inflation, Credit and Equities. Parameta Solutions strategy focuses on three pillars. First, it is enhancing its distribution, with 78% of the division’s 2024 revenue originating from third-party channels, and an increasing proportion (22%) being generated from direct channels, such as the cloud. Role Overview

Specialist, Data Quality

The Specialist Quality plays a critical role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of market data across multiple brands and platforms. This position involves real-time monitoring, testing, and escalation of data anomalies and process outcomes contributing to the overall quality assurance framework of the organization. Candidates should demonstrate the ability or possess experience that qualifies them to perform these duties with little supervision.

• Focus: Handles moderately complex tasks independently

• Indicators: Attention to detail, focus on issue resolution, reduced escalations, improved TATs.

• Autonomy: Structured independence handles routine tasks independently and escalates by exception. 

• Decision-making: Within context of primary price evaluation responsibilities and training.

• Support: Regular check-ins with supervisor.

Role Responsibilities

Update Frequency Testing:

• Conduct update frequency testing using QA applications

• Monitor real-time update frequency across all brands

• Analyse alerts related to data production and escalate issues as appropriate.

QA Machine Building:

• Assist in the development and implementation of multi-brand machines.

• Support update testing and validation processes.

Spot Model Maintenance:

• Monitor real-time spot price generation.

• Apply maker/checker controls to manage contributor activity.

• Analyse off-market contributor and escalate to relevant contributors.

• Monitor and reset blocked PIP allowances as needed.

Scheduled Data Monitoring, Process Monitoring, Product Maintenance:

• Perform scheduled monitoring of Refinitiv pages and data.

• Monitor benchmarks and indices prior to publication

• Monitor MoveIt and BrokerFlow processes

• Track Bloomberg page text rolls using the ‘197 Go’ function.

• Maintain bond list for Bond Evidential Pricing and Transaction Cost Analysis (TCA)

General Duties:

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned by Data Quality leadership.

Experience / Competences

Desired

• Familiarity with financial data platforms Bloomberg and Refinitiv.

• Experience in market data operations or financial services.

• Exposure to QA tools and automated testing environments.

• Understanding of pricing models and Benchmark methodologies

• Demonstrated use of Excel at an intermediate level (e.g. vLookUps, GET, MATCH formulas).

• Strong analytical and diagnostic skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, real time data environment.

• Effective communication and escalation practices.

• Attention to detail and commitment to data integrity.
