An R&D technology consultant specializing in biopharma/biotech, focusing on design, build and deployment of R&D technology solutions (EDC, CDMS, RIM) to accelerate therapies to patients. You will assess and improve R&D processes and technology platforms, advise clients on how to become data-driven and AI-enabled, and define IT roadmaps and implementations for R&D systems. You will build relationships with client stakeholders, coach junior team members, pursue business development opportunities, and contribute to Accenture’s thought leadership in life sciences sales, marketing, and customer experience.

You Are
An R&D expert with an in-depth understanding of how business, technology and operations intersect. You’ve got the know-how to help our biopharmaceutical and/ or biotechnoloy clients design, build and deploy solutions to help them get the right therapies to patients faster. You get a sense of quiet satisfaction from using your analytical talents to solve problems in new and creative ways. Plus, you always find a way to explain those ideas, thanks to above average communications and interpersonal skills.
The Work (Role Responsibility)
- Help clients, and other organizations in the broader healthcare ecosystem, get the right therapies to patients faster
- Assess and improve R&D processes and their underlying technology platforms
- Provide R&D technology subject matter expertise in areas such as EDC, CDMS, RIM, etc
- Advise clients on how they can shape the next generation of technology capabilities to become data-driven, AI enabled organizations
- Typical projects consist of definition of a IT roadmap, assessment of current technology footprint and/ or design and implementation of R&D systems to achieve a desired future state.
- Build relationships with client stakeholders that help Accenture become a trusted partner
- Coach junior team members
- Spot and pursue business development opportunities
- Develop Accenture’s thought leadership in sales, marketing, and customer experience
