The Opportunity

Help us unlock knowledge, intertwine artificial intelligence with user experience, and invent the future across phones, computers and the cloud! The Document Cloud AI and Innovation product team is seeking a creative, positive, and tech-savvy product manager who can build AI products and services.

This team is friends with both humans and machines. We build AI-powered experiences for Document Cloud, including AI Assistant in Acrobat, Liquid Mode inside the Adobe Acrobat Reader mobile app and the PDF Extract API. This role will focus on developing core generative AI features to drive new value for hundreds of millions of Acrobat users.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and communicate a clear product strategy that aligns with Adobe's goals and objectives.
  • Validate and build Generative AI-driven features through user interviews, quantitative research, and market analysis.
  • Build and maintain a product roadmap that outlines the product's development journey and milestones from conception to launch.  
  • Work closely with AI engineers, Designers and other Product Managers to conceptualize and build GenAI features.
  • Become an expert in Generative AI and how to leverage its strengths in a safety-preserving way
  • Present concepts, insights, and key findings to key influencers and leaders.

What You Have

  • Proven experience as a product manager in a software development environment.
  • A technical background or degree is preferred, especially related to Generative AI.
  • Bonus points for having expertise and experience with evaluation of Generative AI features.
  • True passion for crafting something from nothing. Experience with design thinking, lean startup, and other innovation methodologies preferred.
  • Strong conceptual thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Enthusiastic curiosity about the latest technology and innovation trends.
  • A willingness to challenge assumptions, solicit different perspectives, and understand the "why" and not just the "what".

Expected Pay Range:

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several U.S. geographic markets, and we pay differently based on those defined markets. The U.S. pay range for this position is $148,100 -- $282,100 annually. Pay within this range varies by work location and may also depend on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Your recruiter can share more about the specific salary range for the job location during the hiring process. In California, the pay range for this position is $194,800 - $282,100

At Adobe, for sales roles starting salaries are expressed as total target compensation (TTC = base + commission), and short-term incentives are in the form of sales commission plans.  Non-sales roles starting salaries are expressed as base salary and short-term incentives are in the form of the Annual Incentive Plan (AIP).

In addition, certain roles may be eligible for long-term incentives in the form of a new hire equity award.
