THE ROLE: We are looking for a senior Design Verification technical expert to join our team to develop world-class products. In this role you will be engaged with architects, micro architecture, RTL, CAD/Methodology, and internal stakeholders to define end to end Design Verification Methodology, tools/flows, and initiatives that drive the improvement of design efficiency and IP design quality. In this role you will provide a cohesive technical vision of the required Design Verification methodology. THE PERSON: You will possess very strong problem-solving skills and bring broad experience in Design Verification/Formal Verification methodology, with a strong, self-motivated work ethic. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Define end-to-end design verification methodologies Drive Formal Verification methodologies and deployment Evaluate and adopt state of art Design Verification tools & flows Develop and deploy new Artificial Intelligence tools/flows to improve design efficiency Drive Artificial Intelligence initiatives and tools/flows deployments Deep knowledge of Design Verification(including Formal Verification) and Artificial Intelligence tools, flows and methodologies Proven track record of tapeout experience with leading technology nodes like 7nm, 5nm and 3nm Excellent communication skills and strong collaboration across multiple business units PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Deep experience in Design Verification & Formal Verification methodology preferred Experience working seamlessly across engineering disciplines and geographies to deliver excellent results ACADEMIC CREDENTIALS: Bachelors or Masters degree in computer engineering/Electrical Engineering LOCATION: Santa Clara, California This role is not eligible for visa sponsorship. #LI-TB2 Benefits offered are described: AMD benefits at a glance.
