Data Collection Specialist will learn and execute data collection procedures, label data, record information, and document any issues related to data collection. The role requires organization, attention to detail, collaborative skills, and the ability to suggest enhancements to tools and adapt to changing collection protocols. It emphasizes a passion for data, efficiency, and proactive problem solving in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The starting pay ranges from $19 to $33 per hour (USD) for USA, CA, Sunnyvale.
Basic Qualifications
- Experience in natural language data labeling, data annotation, linguistic annotation or other forms of data markup- Comfortable working in a fast paced, highly collaborative, dynamic work environment Practical knowledge of machine learning data processing needs and trade-offs Experience working with prototype assets Experience in research or data collection Experience with any scripting languages and Unix/Linux environment is a plus
- A good sense of humor, a positive attitude, and great team work skills are a must Experience using MS Office, Excel, Mac OS, Confluence, JIRA, and Wiki tools.
