We are looking for detail-oriented PhD students to build state-of-the-art forecasting models and apply econometric methods to large data sets. The role requires knowledge of time series econometrics and Python; familiarity with MATLAB and Bayesian estimation for state-space models is a plus. The PhD Economist Internship Program offers hands-on experience, mentorship, and professional development as interns work on real business and research problems alongside economists, scientists, and product managers. This full-time internship (40 hours per week) is designed to prepare you for future economist roles at Amazon.

We are looking for detail-oriented, organized, and responsible individuals who are eager to apply their talents and skills to help develop state of the art forecasting models and estimate them on large and complicated data sets.
