Seeking an experienced, customer-focused Principal Product Manager to lead AI/ML-powered solutions in Advertising FinTech (Billing and Payments) and Budgeting. You will define the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of AI-driven billing, invoicing, and budgeting capabilities to help advertisers optimize campaigns with minimal operational load. Collaborate with engineering, data science, and ML teams to build scalable event-driven architectures processing billions of impressions daily and to develop AI-powered budget optimization and predictive insights. The role emphasizes data-driven decision-making, AI/ML technologies, and leading cross-functional product and engineering efforts.
As part of Advertising Billing and Budgeting team, you will define the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of technical solutions that leverage AI and machine learning to help advertisers focus on business effort vs operational load of billing and payments and maximize their budgets. You will collaborate closely with engineering, sales and marketing, and ML engineering teams to build robust, AI-driven billing and budgeting products and predictive insights capabilities. Your responsibilities will include working backward from the customer to identify needs, partnering with engineering to build scalable event-driven architectures that process billions of impressions for billing and budgeting daily using ML pipelines, developing AI-powered budget optimization, and driving adoption through close collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.

Key Product and Technical Challenges:
- Distributed, Event-Driven, and Scalable Architecture: Looking at advertising international expansion and business growth plans for next year, we expect this traffic to grow 10X in near future. Billing and Budgeting system should be easily scalable to manage exponential increase in traffic and extensible to support different business needs.
- High Availability: Downtime of Billing and Budgeting system can cause a huge loss in revenue and loss of business opportunity for our advertisers. High Availability architecture is to make sure that the system is configured to handle different loads and different failures with minimal or no downtime.
- Precision: Every click or impression needs to be counted, accounted, invoiced, and charged in near real-time, without any exception. It impacts both revenue and regulatory compliance. We need to build generic and extensible reconcilers for any anomaly detection and raising an appropriate alarm.

- Cross-Functional Leadership: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, enabling them to effectively influence stakeholders, translate complex AI/ML concepts for non-technical audiences, and drive cross-functional collaboration between product, engineering, data science, and ML teams
About the team
Ads Billing and Budgeting team manages services and tools that bill all ad-programs including Sponsored, Demand Side Platform, Measurement Studies, and AMC across all customer segments while ensuring SOX, legal, and 190+ jurisdiction specific compliance and ecosystem safety through business verifications, credit-checks, and fraud prevention.
Team also owns a Budgeting program that has 3 primary functions – 1) Budget Enforcement for Ads products supporting various budgeting policies (monthly average, date ranged, fixed daily, and lifetime), 2) Innovative budgeting solutions for like Shared Leftover Budgets and Rollovers that enables advertisers to utilize unspent budget on high performing days, Budget Rules that helps advertisers to increase budget based on events or performance.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- 4+ years of end to end product delivery experience
- 8+ years of technical product or program management experience
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience leading engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience technical product management
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working directly with Engineers on product enhancements- Experience in project management methodologies, business analysis, or process improvement
- Experience with and deep understanding of advertising technologies (i.e., ad server, DSP)

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
