Join Amazon as a Program Manager in FinOps, leading a team of RPA and automation engineers to manage mission-critical systems. You will partner with business stakeholders and product managers to translate technical concepts into business-friendly language, and drive AI/ML approaches while maintaining operational excellence. This role requires autonomy, comfort with ambiguity, and a proven track record of hiring, developing, and retaining top talent. You will establish project planning, engineering excellence, operational excellence, and team-building mechanisms to scale automation programs.

This role requires one to be a self-starter with good business modeling skills, keen attention to detail and good track record of collaborating with diverse stakeholders. This role has regular interaction with senior leadership and stakeholders across Amazon and requires good verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will need to be capable of operating with a high degree of autonomy and hence needs to demonstrate a high degree of comfort with ambiguity besides holding a high bar on performance. The candidate will need to have a proven track record for hiring, developing and retaining the best talent.


Key job responsibilities
Learn and stay current with technical developments in the field of Automation Technology and including Amazon AI services.
Lead a team of highly talented RPA and automation engineers responsible for managing all aspects of mission-critical systems

Partner with business stakeholder and product managers around automation technology/RPA capability communication/articulation, translate technical jargon and methodologies to business absorb able language
Research and drive new and innovative AI/ML approaches
Enforce a high bar for operational excellence of the team's services

Recruit high performing team members, and provide them mentorship and coaching

Establish team mechanisms for project planning, product development, engineering excellence, operational excellence, and team building mechanisms.

Basic Qualifications

-3+ years of program or project management experience
-3+ years of working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams experience
-3+ years of defining and implementing process improvement initiatives using data and metrics experience
-Bachelor's degree
-Knowledge of Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookUps) at an advanced level and SQL
-Experience defining program requirements and using data and metrics to determine improvements

Preferred Qualifications

-3+ years of driving end to end delivery, and communicating results to senior leadership experience
-3+ years of driving process improvements experience
-Experience in stakeholder management, dealing with multiple stakeholders at varied levels of the organization
-Experience building processes, project management, and schedules
