Own the internationalization and intelligent chatbot strategy for Amazon Music subscriptions. Lead expansion of Amazon Music's subscription offers in high-growth international markets, localizing pricing, promotions, and onboarding experiences. Define and drive a global AI-driven subscription chatbot that helps customers with plan discovery, upgrades/downgrades, cancellations, entitlements, and benefits access, while collaborating with Engineering, Data Science, and CX to improve accuracy and customer delight. Align with payments, promotions, and lifecycle management to scale subscriptions globally while remaining locally relevant.
In this role, you’ll sit at the intersection of music streaming, payments, promotions, and conversational AI. You will be responsible for making Amazon Music subscriptions both globally scalable and locally relevant, while also creating a smart, intuitive chatbot experience that empowers customers to engage with their subscription directly — from plan exploration and upgrades to cancellations, entitlements, and benefits access.
You are highly data-driven, proactive, and comfortable navigating ambiguity across business and technical domains. You thrive on working backwards from diverse customer needs worldwide and scaling mechanisms that work across regions and use cases.
Key job responsibilities
Key Workstreams
1. Internationalization & Market Expansion
Launch and scale Amazon Music subscription offers in new and growing international markets.
Localize pricing strategies, promotions, and upsell experiences to meet regional customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Partner with Finance, Payments, and Engineering teams to deliver trusted, market-ready payment solutions.
Build scalable mechanisms for subscription onboarding, lifecycle management, and retention globally.
2. Intelligent Subscription Chatbot
Define and drive the global strategy for Amazon Music’s subscription chatbot.
Create an AI-driven conversational interface that helps customers with subscription-related needs, including plan discovery, pricing questions, upgrades/downgrades, cancellations, entitlements, and benefit access.
Collaborate with Engineering, Data Science, and CX teams to design personalized, proactive flows that reduce friction and increase customer confidence in managing their subscriptions.
Continuously improve the chatbot’s accuracy, coverage, and customer delight using data insights and generative AI capabilities.
About the team
The Music Subscriptions team builds and maintains the systems that power Amazon Music’s global subscription business. We address challenges that affect millions of customers daily, spanning international expansion, payment integrations, promotions, upsells, and next-generation subscription experiences.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in using analytical tools, such as Tableau, Qlikview, QuickSight- Experience in building and driving adoption of new tools
