Join Amazon Global Selling's Global Trade Foundations Technology team as a Software Development Engineer II to build scalable platforms enabling sellers from emerging marketplaces to register, grow, and sell globally. You will work across registration, payments, compliance, and cross-border fulfilment, and contribute to ML/AI/LLM solutions for sellers worldwide. The role requires several years of professional software development and design/architecture experience, with involvement in the full software development lifecycle. You will collaborate with multiple sub-teams to deliver solutions for both desktop and mobile users.
To drive the growth of this business, “Global Selling Foundations Technology team” has a mission to “Offer a Global Selling experience that enables new and existing Global Selling Emerging Marketplaces (GSE) sellers to easily Start, Manage and Grow their business globally”.
The team comprises of 3 sub-teams, which are called the “Exports Compliance Technology team”, “Exports Seller Growth Technology team”, and “Exports Seller Fulfilment team”, which support multiple aspects of Amazon Global Selling’s core businesses such as Registration, Payments, Compliance, Business Growth, Cross border Fulfilment, for both Desktop and Mobile users.
The team also builds ML, AI, and LLM solutions for Sellers across different Emerging marketplaces.

Basic Qualifications
- 3+ years of non-internship professional software development experience- 2+ years of non-internship design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
- Experience programming with at least one software programming language
Preferred Qualifications
- 3+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
