This Senior Product Manager, Technical role owns science and technology products that optimize the Amazon Private Brands Supply Chain. You will drive data-driven decisions to navigate long lead times, manage supplier demand forecasting, and balance inventory across origin and destination locations. You’ll influence cross-functional stakeholders, deliver roadmaps, and target multi-million dollar cost savings and hundreds of millions in topline growth. Strong analytical depth and clear communication are essential in collaborating with suppliers and engineering teams.
This is a high-impact role with an opportunity to drive millions of dollars in cost-savings and hundreds of millions of dollars in topline growth. This role requires a strong product manager with significant analytical and technical depth, strong bias for action, ability to bring cross-functional stakeholders together to deliver on shared goals, and excellent written and verbal communication.
About the team
This team builds Science and Tech solutions to optimize Amazon Private Brands Supply Chain decisions to maximize long-term free cash flow. Example supply chain decisions include: Which supplier to source from at what points in time, how much of a product to order from suppliers, how much of product to store at origin country vs. at destination country, how to maintain optimal inventory health balancing storage costs from overstock and lost sales from understock, etc.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, statistics, computer science, operations research, business analytics, information systems or equivalent- Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition
- Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
- Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
- Experience managing technical products or online services
- Experience in representing and advocating for a variety of critical customers and stakeholders during executive-level prioritization and planning
- Experience performing statistical analysis of data using SQL, Excel and other tools

The base salary range for this position is listed below. As a total compensation company, Amazon's package may include other elements such as sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
