Lead AI tool adoption and integration across engineering teams within Amazon Advertising's Creative Building team, driving measurable productivity gains and establishing best practices for AI-enabled workflows. Guide complex, cross-organizational programs with ambiguous scope, aligning diverse stakeholders and navigating technical dependencies to deliver results. Provide hands-on technical leadership, mentor teams, and make data-driven decisions with defined success metrics. Act as a technical liaison between product and engineering, driving discovery, planning, and clear communication to executives.

The Creative Building team is part of a newly formed, VP-led organization named CreativeX, which sits within Amazon Advertising. Its mission is to democratize access to high-quality creatives.



Key job responsibilities
AI Tool Leadership & Innovation:
*Champion and lead the adoption of AI tools across engineering teams, driving measurable productivity gains.
*Establish best practices and frameworks for AI tool integration into existing workflows.
*Serve as the subject matter expert on AI-assisted development, testing, and operational tools.
Identify opportunities to leverage generative AI and other emerging technologies to solve complex technical challenges.

Complex Cross-Organizational Program Management:
*Lead high-impact, multi-organizational programs with ambiguous scope and competing priorities.
*Drive alignment across diverse stakeholder groups where product presence may be limited or emerging.
*Navigate complex technical dependencies and organizational boundaries to deliver results.
*Build and maintain strong relationships with engineering, product, and business leaders across the organization.

Hands-On Technical Leadership:
*Roll up your sleeves to understand technical details, unblock teams, and drive execution.
*Lead by example in adopting new tools and methodologies.
*Manage and mentor teams in areas with evolving product strategies.
*Make data-driven decisions and establish metrics to measure program success

A day in the life
1) Drive cross-functional planning, leading discovery and prioritization by closely partnering with product managers and engineering leads to develop program plans that include roadmaps, dependency identifications, and resourcing plans
2) Ascertain the true requirements underlying feature requests; recommend alternative technical approaches and lead engineering efforts to meet challenging timelines
3) Communicate clearly and effectively to executive management on plans, status, and critical issues
4) Partner as a technical liaison between product and engineering teams

Basic Qualifications

- 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
- 7+ years of working directly with engineering teams experience
- 3+ years of software development experience
- 5+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience
- Experience managing programs across cross functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules

Preferred Qualifications

- 5+ years of project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management experience
- Experience managing projects across cross functional teams, building sustainable processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
