We are seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager to lead cross-functional, high-impact technology initiatives for AWS Marketing, AI and Analytics. You will drive large-scale programs across multiple teams, influence senior leadership, and define both business strategies and technical direction for strategic initiatives. You will partner with engineering to define technical solutions, resolve cross-team dependencies, and drive risk mitigation, post-mortems, and continuous improvement. The role requires strong program and stakeholder management, with domain expertise in marketing technologies and cloud-based systems, to balance immediate activation needs with long-term architectural decisions.
Key job responsibilities
Owns and manages the lifecycle of large high impact cross-functional technology initiatives across multiple teams and organizations. Work is strategic and tactical.
Develop comprehensive program plans with clear milestones, goals, dependencies, critical paths, and risk mitigation strategies
Help define, align and map customer needs and business strategies for product and technology decisions.
Drive technical decision-making processes and help Resolve technical architectural or engineering ambiguity
resolve cross-team dependencies and conflicts
Communicate program status, risks, and mitigation plans to senior leadership and stakeholders
Influence product strategy and roadmaps based on technical constraints and opportunities
Partner with engineering leaders to define technical solutions that meet business requirements
Identify and remove obstacles to program execution through creative problem-solving
Lead post-mortems and drive continuous improvement initiatives
Basic Qualifications
- 6+ years of technical program management working directly with software engineering teams experience- Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or equivalent
- Experience in project management disciplines including scope, schedule, budget, quality, along with risk and critical path management
- Experience managing technical programs across cross-functional teams, building processes and coordinating release schedules
- Experience leading highly technical programs involving infrastructure, complex systems, systems engineering
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience defining KPI's/SLA's used to drive multi-million dollar businesses and reporting to senior leadership- Knowledge of Marketing Technologies and Strategies (ABM, Personalization, Customer Journeys, Campaign Management, and others)
- Experience with cloud computing platforms, distributed systems, and AI
- Experience with Agile, Scrum, and other software development methodologies. Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or MBA
- Experience using metrics to drive program improvements leveraging strong data analysis skills

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
