PLAN A is one of the strategic Aviva Group's projects, aiming to reduce number of data platform, simplify reporting processes and limit number of models. Key point in this transition is to transition our remaining models from Prophet Professional to single unified platform called SMART.

Bridging team provides comprehensive support for teams involved in this exercise, perform robust tests and answer questions regarding key differences between models.

What will you be doing?

As a part of bridging team, you will be:

  • learning how UL policies/UL products are modelled in Prophet Professional and SMART

  • identifying and explaining differences between models

  • investigating key elements between old models developed in Prophet Professional and newly create SMART models

  • creating step change analysis, focused on quantifying impacts of each difference between models

  • providing guidance on how certain features can be remapped between models

  • introducing ad-hoc changes in both Prophet and SMART models

  • depending on the experience level, providing support to less experienced colleagues

  • ensure the successful transformation between systems

What we're looking for?

  • At least 3-4 years of experience in actuarial roles

  • Experience in actuarial modelling or coding in tools such as R, python, VBA

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Knowledge of Solvency II or IFRS17 metrics

  • Good Excel knowledge

  • Good English language skills (working with English-speaking clients plus creating basic documentation in English)

  • Knowledge of Prophet Professional would be an asset, but not essential
