The role involves supporting risk assessments, optimizing audit efficiency, and collaborating with stakeholders to strengthen compliance and controls.

Join us as a Data Analytics - AVP, where you will use data insights to enhance audit quality and drive innovation. As part of the BIA Data Analytics team, you will develop solutions for audit testing, automate manual processes, and explore new technologies to improve assurance methods. Your role will involve supporting data-driven risk assessments, optimizing audit efficiency, and collaborating with stakeholders to enhance compliance frameworks.

To be successful in this role, you should have below skills:

  • Experience of working in an Audit team / Audit function.
  • Experience with advanced data science/machine learning.
  • Experience with AWS/Alteryx technologies.
  • Experience developing self-service automations/dashboards/data models to simplify repetitive tasks.
  • Proven ability to quickly learn emerging data analytics technologies and use them on the job.
  • Proven ability of working through challenging problems and working independently to develop solutions to address business needs.
  • Proven ability to interact with stakeholders.

Some other highly valued skills may include:

  • Experience of working in an Audit team / Audit function.
  • Experience with advanced data science/machine learning.
  • Experience with AWS/Alteryx technologies.
  • Experience developing self-service automations/dashboards/data models to simplify repetitive tasks.

This role is based out of Pune location.

Purpose of the role

To provide administrative, analytical, and research support to the Internal Audit team, contributing to the overall effectiveness of the audit function. 

Accountabilities

  • Development and execution of operational practices to effectively manage internal audit functions.
  • Guidance and support for internal audit functions, by providing technical support and assisting with audit administration, including planning, scheduling, and reporting.
  • Development and execution of departmental training to support compliance with internal policies, including content development and training development sessions.
  • Monitoring of compliance with regulatory requirements and internal policies.

Assistant Vice President Expectations

  • To advise and influence decision making, contribute to policy development and take responsibility for operational effectiveness. Collaborate closely with other functions/ business divisions.
  • Lead a team performing complex tasks, using well developed professional knowledge and skills to deliver on work that impacts the whole business function. Set objectives and coach employees in pursuit of those objectives, appraisal of performance relative to objectives and determination of reward outcomes
  • If the position has leadership responsibilities, People Leaders are expected to demonstrate a clear set of leadership behaviours to create an environment for colleagues to thrive and deliver to a consistently excellent standard.   • Collaborate with other areas of work, for business aligned support areas to keep up to speed with business activity and the business strategy.
  • Engage in complex analysis of data from multiple sources of information, internal and external sources such as procedures and practises (in other areas, teams, companies, etc).to solve problems creatively and effectively.
  • Communicate complex information. 'Complex' information could include sensitive information or information that is difficult to communicate because of its content or its audience.
  • Influence or convince stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
