Binance is seeking a Data Scientist to advance NLP and computer vision for content understanding, including classification, entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and image/video understanding. You will build and scale models (e.g., BERT, GPT, ViT, CLIP) and bring them into production to power content moderation, recommendations, and search. You’ll collaborate with product and data teams to diagnose business challenges and design data-driven solutions while tracking cutting-edge research for real-world applications. The role emphasizes developing and optimizing NLP/CV algorithms and driving system improvements across moderation and discovery workflows.

We are looking for a Data Scientist expert to drive advancements in natural language processing and computer vision. You’ll work across content understanding scenarios such as classification, entity recognition, sentiment analysis, and image/video understanding, and help build large-scale systems that power content moderation, recommendation, and search.
Responsibilites
- Develop and optimize NLP/CV algorithms to improve the performance and efficiency of content understanding pipelines.
- Build scalable models (e.g., BERT, GPT, ViT, CLIP) and bring them into production.
- Partner with product and data teams to diagnose business challenges and design data-driven solutions.
- Track cutting-edge research and explore novel algorithms for real-world applications in content understanding.
- Drive system improvements that enhance moderation, recommendation and search workflow
Requirements
- Master’s Degree or above in Computer Science, AI, EE, Mathematics, or related fields.
- Strong programming skills in Python or C++ and familiarity with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch.
- Solid foundation in machine learning/deep learning and hands-on experience with common models in NLP and/or CV.
- Experience working with large-scale data processing frameworks (Hadoop/Spark/Flink is a plus).
- 2+ years of algorithm/model development experience.
- Background in content safety, recommendation or search systems is highly valued.
