Define the end-to-end vision and strategy for BNY’s marketing technology ecosystem, including core platforms, niche tools, and AI-enabled solutions. Create and maintain 12- and 36-month roadmaps for marketing technology, AI, and data infrastructure while translating strategy into investments. Lead a global MarTech organization, drive adoption and business value of technology investments, and oversee vendor relationships and platform selections. Oversee modernization and migrations of legacy systems, establish governance and marketing operations excellence, and partner across Marketing, Sales, Engineering, Data and AI teams to enable enterprise-wide impact.

We’re seeking a future team member for the role of GLOBAL HEAD OF ENTERPRISE MARKETING TECHNOLOGY, AI & DATA to join our Marketing team. This role is located in New York City.
In this role, you’ll make an impact in the following ways:
- Define the end-to-end vision and strategy for BNY’s marketing technology ecosystem that supports our Marketing transformation, encompassing core platforms to niche tooling to custom AI-enabled solutions.
- Create and maintain a 12 and 36-month roadmap for marketing technology, AI, and data infrastructure. Partner across Marketing and Sales organizations to translate strategic priorities into roadmap imperatives and investments.
- Cultivate a high-performing, global MarTech team—recruiting top talent, fostering professional development, and modeling a collaborative, growth-oriented culture.
- Champion the full realization of our MarTech investments’ value, taking a consultative approach to solving for outcomes with partners and supporting the organization’s adoption of technical capabilities/features. Build strategic business case for further investment when needed.
- Establish a foundation of marketing operations excellence, rooted in rigorous governance, that sets the standard for security, quality, scalability, and agility.
- Redefine marketing workflows leveraging automation and agentification.
- Oversee evaluation, selection, and implementation of new marketing and communications platforms/tools, and development of AI agents. Own/manage vendor relationships. Partner with Engineering, Data, CRM, Sales, and AI teams to integrate MarTech with enterprise systems.
- Lead migrations and transformation of legacy systems and processes, modernizing infrastructure, and building a best-in-class MarTech stack while cultivating a continuous improvement culture.

To be successful in this role, we’re seeking the following:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field; advanced degree a plus.
- 10+ years of progressive experience in marketing technology, digital marketing, or marketing operations. Experience in global B2B financial services companies a plus.
- 8+ years of demonstrated people leadership success, preferably including experience managing managers, managing a team spanning a variety of disciplines, and managing a globally distributed team/partners.
- Extensive knowledge of the marketing technology landscape, platforms/tools, and emerging technologies. Deep expertise in Adobe Digital Experience ecosystem. Experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Salesforce CRMs helpful. Strong technical understanding required.
- Proven track record owning end-to-end implementations and integrations in complex, matrixed organizations.
- A people and thought leader for a rapidly evolving environment, who can bring structure to ambiguity, manage to results through change, and bring the vision to shape the organization and program they want to lead.
- Strong technical foundation and comfort collaborating with engineers and data scientists. Equally comfortable with non-technical business partners.
- Demonstrated ability to forge partnerships with vendors and manage software contracting.
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills. Fluent in various level of discussion on marketing technology: technical details and decisions, marketing outcomes and enablement, and full enterprise impact.
- Exceptional strategic and analytical thinking, with strong business acumen and a consultative mindset.

BNY assesses market data to ensure a competitive compensation package for our employees. The base salary for this position is expected to be between $200,000 and $235,000 per year at the commencement of employment. However, base salary if hired will be determined on an individualized basis, including as to experience and market location, and is only part of the BNY total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, short and long-term incentive packages, and Company-sponsored benefit programs.
This position is at-will and the Company reserves the right to modify base (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, change in geographic location, Company or individual department/team performance and market factors.
