Job Overview

Citibank, N.A. seeks a Business Analytics Senior Manager for its New York, NY location.

DUTIES: Work on fraud rules, scores, and detection strategies, risk appetite execution, POS interdiction strategies, and defect analysis. Leverage analytics to identify enhancement opportunities and more granular insights that can be acted upon, while ensuring adherence to the fraud policy. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide strategy recommendations based on data and trend analysis and implement mitigation strategies. Build effective relationships within and outside the fraud organization to help ensure successful and timely execution of key portfolio priorities. Generate regular and ad-hoc reporting to enable effective monitoring and identification of emerging trends. Assess manual and automated processes to identify potential process gaps and opportunities. Prioritize and provide a clear line of sight to the most critical work to partners and team members. A telecommuting/hybrid work schedule may be permitted within a commutable distance from the worksite in accordance with Citi policies and protocols.

REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent, in Business Administration, Information Systems, Mathematics, or a related field, and five (5) years of experience in the job offered or in a related quantitative occupation implementing fraud prevention strategies within the financial services industry. Five (5) years of experience must include: Performing coding in a Big Data environment using tools including SAS and SQL and/or open-source tools including Python, Impala, and Hive; Utilizing traditional and advanced machine learning techniques and algorithms including Logistic Regression, Gradient Boosting, and Random Forests; Utilizing data visualization tools including Tableau to build dashboards and views that are leveraged to drive decisions based on data; and Using quantitative and analytic skills to derive patterns, trends, and insights, and perform risk and reward trade-off analysis.
