Your key responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop and execute a comprehensive, AI-driven roadmap for modernizing enterprise legacy applications, focusing on high-impact areas like security, scalability, and cost reduction.
- AI-Driven Analysis & Documentation: Utilize generative AI and ML tools to automatically crawl, analyze, and translate complex, undocumented legacy code (e.g., COBOL, older .NET frameworks) into clear business specifications and documentation.
- Automated Code Transformation & Refactoring: Oversee the use of AI-powered platforms to automate the conversion of obsolete programming languages into modern, scalable code, minimizing manual effort and errors.
- Cloud Migration Strategy: Design and implement strategies for transitioning applications to cloud-based environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP), leveraging AI for performance monitoring and risk assessment during the migration phases.
- Automated Testing and QA: Implement AI-driven automated testing frameworks to ensure thorough regression testing and quality assurance, identifying bugs and vulnerabilities faster than traditional methods.
- Data Integration & Analytics: Lead the process of migrating and integrating data from disparate legacy silos into a unified, AI-enhanced data platform, enabling predictive analytics and real-time insights.
- Security and Compliance: Strengthen system security using AI-powered tools for continuous threat detection and automated compliance checks, ensuring adherence to the latest data privacy regulations.
- Collaboration and Upskilling: Partner with IT and business stakeholders to foster a culture of innovation and provide guidance and training to existing teams on working alongside AI tools and modern technologies.
Your skills and experience
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in AI, ML, or data science, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
Technical Skills
- Proficiency in Python, R, or other programming languages.
- Experience with deep learning frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch).
- Familiarity with natural language processing (NLP) and LLM architecture.
- Knowledge of data management platforms (e.g., Hadoop, Spark, BQ, ADX).
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture, software modernization, or a similar leadership role within a complex IT landscape.
- Deep expertise in AI, Machine Learning, and Generative AI technologies, specifically their application in code analysis, refactoring, and data migration.
- Strong understanding of modern cloud-native architectures, microservices, and DevOps methodologies.
- Proficiency in evaluating and selecting the right AI tools and external partners for specific modernization challenges.
Leadership and Management
- Proven track record of leading high-performing teams and driving results-oriented projects.
- Experience with Agile methodologies and Scrum frameworks.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to bridge the gap between legacy systems and future business needs.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders and manage cultural change within the organization.

- Certifications: Relevant certifications in Data Science, Analytics, etc.
- Industry Knowledge: Experience working in the financial services industry, preferably in a global bank setting.
