As a working student – Data Science (f/m/d) you will support the Data Product Management team in Clearstream in the development of innovative data products and analytical solutions.
Your responsibilities:
- You will use data analytics and build machine learning models to enhance operations efficiency according to business requirements
- You will work with various data sources, including big data tools (e. g. Azure Databricks) and cloud technologies, to create datasets from multiple data sources
- You will work with different stakeholders under the guidance of an experienced supervisor
- You will have regular discussions with the team of and present your solutions and findings
- You will have an opportunity to be involved in projects on data mining and machine learning to identify patterns and create forecasts to predict future behaviours
Your profile:
- You are enrolled during the entire period of activity at a state-recognized university as a regular student and have completed at least 2 semesters with focus in the field of Computer Science, Mathematics/Statistics, Physics, Engineering, Business Administration, Information Technology, Management or any other relevant quantitative field
- You have good knowledge of Machine Learning / AI and Python (PySpark, pandas, scikit-learn) or other programming languages
- You have basic knowledge of database backend technologies (e.g., SQL, relational databases, data modelling) and feel comfortable working with structured and unstructured data
- Ideally, you have already gained practical experience in conducting quantitative analysis (e. g. experience abroad, internships) and are interested in financial data
- You can understand technical information quickly, derive insights and devise solutions. You have an independent and responsible way of working with attention to detail and agile communication and possess a passion to learn
- You are proficient in written and spoken English
