Evercore is seeking a Senior Associate for their Equities Technology, Data & Analytics team to lead AI and data initiatives that transform equities trading and sales workflows. The role requires a strong technical background to develop scalable AI and analytics solutions that enhance decision-making and client engagement within the equities division.

What is the Position? Evercore seeks to hire a Senior Associate of Equities Technology, Data & Analytics for a new, high-impact team focused on leveraging artificial intelligence and data science to transform Equities Trading and Sales workflows. This hands-on, high-visibility leadership role is at the intersection of finance, applied AI, and analytics, ideal for a motivated candidate who wants to shape how next-generation technology is integrated into the firm's equities division.

Primary Responsibilities: We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced technology leader with a strong technical background to drive the vision and execution of AI and data initiatives within the equities division. The role will work closely with business stakeholders and technology partners to translate complex business objectives into robust, scalable technical solutions that directly enhance decision-making, efficiency, and client engagement. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Lead the design and implementation of data and analytics platforms that extract actionable insights from structured and unstructured financial, market, and other data.
  • Drive the adoption and integration of cutting-edge AI solutions, including large language models (LLMs), automating sales and trading focused optimization tools, data analysis and insights.
  • Power analytical tools that strengthen decision-making across the firm, enabling sales traders to focus more time of market opportunities and client engagement by embedding data driven intelligence into everyday operations.
  • Manage cross-functional solutions, ensuring that all AI and data solutions align with industry standards, organizational policies, and data-governance best practices within operational constraints.
  • Develop proof-of-concepts that showcase new opportunities for AI adoption, championing a proactive approach to problem-solving and innovation across the enterprise.

Specific Qualifications:

  • Minimum 5+ years of analytics, data science, or banking experience.
  • Proven proficiency in Python with extensive experience in applied analytics, ML model development, and delivering enterprise-level solutions.
  • Deep familiarity with machine learning methods (e.g., forecasting, classification, natural language processing) and practical experience applying them within a financial services context.
  • Intellectual curiosity about AI’s role in reshaping financial services and a proactive interest in experimenting with and adopting new emerging AI technologies.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, capable of explaining complex technical work clearly to non-technical and senior executive audiences.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple high-impact, strategic projects simultaneously with minimal guidance.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics, Engineering, or related)
  • This position requires valid United States work authorization and is not eligible for employer visa sponsorship

Expected Base Salary Range: $165,000 - $200,000

In addition to a competitive base salary, employees may be eligible to receive a discretionary bonus delivered in the form of cash and/or deferred equity. Evercore also offers a variety of benefits and programs, subject to eligibility. These include, but are not limited to:
