2026 Summer Analytics Internship

Your key responsibilities and accountabilities will be:

  • Analyze and report Commodities data across Oil & Natural Gas derivative markets
  • Assist in producing detailed reports and apply data science techniques to analyze data patterns, relationships and impact of fundamentals.
  • Analyze data to build databases and models (regression, LLM etc.) to forecast components.
  • Work directly with internal team of commodity analysts across oil & NG desks.
  • Input and maintain data integrity for the relevant systems.

As the successful candidate you will have experience in, and demonstrate the following:

  • Pursuing a degree in engineering, computer science, data science or related fields with excellent academic record.
  • Strong analysis/writing/planning skills.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel & Word
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, reliable, and good time management / organizational skills.
  • Ambitious and entrepreneurial, willing to learn.
  • Strong interest in international commodity markets.

Additional information:
  • This is a paid internship – $23/hour
  • In person office attendance is required in accordance with Glencore’s US policy; our hours are 8:30am-5:00pm
  • Office is located at New York
  • Intern will be responsible for transport costs to/from the Glencore office.
  • Summer 2026 – estimated start date June 1, 2026.
