Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Vice President to join our Asset Financing Strats team within the Capital Solution Division. This role is pivotal in driving AI-powered innovation, developing advanced quantitative strategies, and leveraging large language models (LLMs) to optimize our asset financing business. The successful candidate will shape the strategic direction of our solutions, enhance product offerings, and improve operational efficiency through intelligent automation and data-driven insights.


Key Responsibilities

AI & LLM Strategy & Development

  • Lead the research, design, and implementation of advanced AI models, LLM-based solutions, and quantitative strategies for the Asset Financing business.
  • Build new functionality for trade capture, automate interest and fee calculations, optimize pricing, collateral management, trading strategies, risk management, and predictive analytics to identify market opportunities and mitigate risks.

Quantitative Research & Innovation

  • Conduct in-depth quantitative research into market microstructure, behavioral patterns, and new data sources relevant to asset financing.
  • Apply state-of-the-art AI techniques, including agentic AI, deep research, and LLMs, to solve complex financial problems and generate alpha.

Model Implementation & Oversight

  • Develop robust, scalable, and production-ready AI models and tools.
  • Oversee the entire model lifecycle: data acquisition, feature engineering, model training, validation, deployment, monitoring, and recalibration.
  • Ensure all models adhere to regulatory standards and internal control frameworks.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Partner with desks, sales, technology, risk management, and operations teams to understand business needs and translate them into quantitative solutions.
  • Integrate AI and LLM capabilities into existing workflows and platforms.

Data Analysis & Insights

  • Leverage large and complex datasets to extract meaningful insights, identify trends, and inform strategic decision-making.
  • Develop KPIs and metrics to track product adoption, utilization, and business impact.

Thought Leadership & Mentorship

  • Act as a subject matter expert in AI, LLMs, and quantitative finance within the strats team.
  • Mentor junior strategists and foster a culture of innovation and continuous learning.

 

Qualifications

Required

  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, Financial Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, or a related quantitative discipline.
  • 5–10; years of experience in quantitative finance or high-tech, with a proven track record of applying advanced AI techniques to real-world problems.
  • Expert-level programming proficiency in Python (NumPy, Pandas, Scikit-learn, TensorFlow, PyTorch). Experience with Slang/C++; is a plus.
  • Strong experience with LLM frameworks and big data technologies.
  • Hands-on experience with agentic AI/MCP design and implementation.
  • Deep understanding of asset financing, collateral management, financial markets, and the broader securities financing ecosystem.

Preferred

  • Experience with documentation digitalization and workflow automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive the adoption of AI/LLM solutions that reduce operational costs and enhance client experience.

Analytical & Leadership Skills

  • Exceptional analytical, quantitative, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences.
