Lead asset, liability and capital management analytics to monitor liquidity, funding ratios and prevent limit breaches while ensuring timely, accurate ALCM returns. Prepare capital plans, scenario analysis and LCR/deposit/funding projections to inform senior management and ALCO, and manage related audits and regulatory compliance. Drive automation and data re-engineering using fintech tools (e.g., Python, SQL, Alteryx, Power Query, Tableau) and support adoption of AI and low-code solutions. Collaborate with stakeholders to streamline processes, enhance Qliksense/Kali analytics and improve data-driven decision making.

We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join this team in the role of Asset, Liability and Capital Management (ALCM), Data Science & Analytics Manager, Finance.

Principal Accountabilities:

  • Monitoring Bank’s liquidity and funding ratio and prevent from limit breach in this regard.
  • Ensuring proper submission of all ALCM returns in timely and accurate manner.
  • Preparing and reviewing Bank’s fund transfer policy properly reflecting market changes.
  • Prepare capital plan and related scenario analysis with consideration of local CAR and SBL maintenance.
  • Complying with BB’s Asset Liability Management guideline and adopting new changes.
  • Managing ALM audit/inspection with minimum audit comment and no repetitive comments.
  • Keeping the senior management posted on new developments, changes, or potential breach risk.
  • Prepare ad-hoc analysis regarding LCR projection, deposit concentration, funding requirement to take management decision.
  • Ensuring ALCO meeting takes place properly with quality pack and papers.
  • Ensure proper implementation of ALCM FIM in a timely manner.
  • Provide pro-active support in the management of liquidity, funding, IRRBB and Capital risks
  • Assist in implementing Streamlining/ Transformation initiatives.
  • Support in implementing group & local streamlining initiatives.

Experience, Skills, and Qualifications:

  • Finance/Accounting Graduation from recognized university. Having Professional Degree will give added advantage.
  • Data Mining and Data Structure Re-engineering knowledge is required.
  • Formal Certification on Fin-Tech tool, Low Code or Hard Code experience is required.
  • Willingness to learn Fintech Tools and Artificial Intelligence.
  • Experience in automation/ streamlining With Fintech (Power Query, Phyton, SQL, VBA, Alteryx, Tableau & MS Excel) will be an added advantage
  • Experiences in related field would be added advantage.
  • Able to cope with pressure and tight deadlines
  • Good writing, analytical and communication skill
  • Sound commitment to continuous improvement, self-motivated, confident, and capable of working independently as well as part of a team
  • Ability to manage stakeholders under guided supervision and independently at times
  • HUB, HMI, TM1, Saracen, HFE, Treats etc. system knowledge will be an added advantage
  • There is a large element of ad hoc requirements within this role – the role holder will need to evidence ability to work under time pressure, flexible, practical and build excellent stakeholder relationships whilst carrying out his/her core responsibilities. A strong team work ethic is critical.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of HSBC systems and Data driven decision, and work closely with stakeholders (i.e. Finance Change Team) to enhance analytical capabilities in Qliksense & Kali, drive improved efficiency through light code automations (e.g., Alteryx) and AI enablers adoption.
