The Associate Director - Data and Analytics will lead and support business strategy execution through advanced data and analytics capabilities. This role requires deep expertise in machine learning, cloud platforms, and stakeholder management to drive strategic initiatives and foster a culture of innovation and inclusion.

In this role, you will: Cascade business strategy and operational goals gaining commitment to them. Guides and supports management team through periods of change. Pre-dominant specialist may oversee and support a number of senior specialists. Build and leverage deep relationships with senior leaders to understand key strategic issues and imperatives, define opportunities, prioritise and meet demand. Demonstrate excellent communication and stakeholder management capabilities; the power to motivate, influence and engage audiences across group and at all levels throughout the business; the ability to make the complex simple and inspire action through analytics and insight. Attract, grow and galvanize top talent; champion diverse thinking and inclusion, create the conditions for excellence and drive positive change through action. Become a trusted advisor, manage stakeholder’s expectations and working relationships with the team focusing on transparency and collaboration. To be successful you will: Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD preferred) in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, or related field. A minimum of 11+ years of experience. In depth knowledge and experience with machine learning techniques and algorithms. Experience with cloud analytics platforms such as GCP, Azure and AWS and big data platforms such as Hadoop, Spark, etc. High technical aptitude, problem solving abilities, intellectual curiosity, motivation, and passion for data discovery. Strong programming skills in Python and familiarity with AI frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, and relevant generative AI libraries. Solid understanding of RAG, GraphRAG approaches. Experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP) and data engineering pipelines in data warehousing/analytics environments. Knowledge of AI ethics, data privacy, and regulatory requirements in the financial sector.
