Investments and Wealth Solutions

Hang Seng's Investments and Wealth Solutions offers a full spectrum of wealth products and services to our Retail Banking and Wealth (RBW) customers, from high-net-worth to mass segments across channels to capture opportunity under different market scenarios. We play a distributor role to source investment and insurance products from service providers, manage the product due diligence and onboarding, as well as client journey design and implementation. We distribute investment funds managed by top tier fund managers covering different types of funds, across regions and asset classes. A wide range of structured products with underlying linked to equities, FX rates, interest rates, investment funds, etc. are offered for investors to pursue different investment objectives. We also offer fixed income instruments and certificates of deposit to customers who look for regular coupon payment. Besides, we have securities services covering exchange traded equities in local and overseas markets offered through a wide variety of trading channels. Margin trading services covering FX and securities, and investment financing service provides extra liquidity and purchasing power to cater for investment needs from sophisticated investors.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join our team as Business Planning and Analytics Manager.

Principal Responsibilities

• Formulate annual business plan by liaising with various parties (including product owner and channel) for growing investment business performance

• Handle annual budget to set target on both revenue and cost, then to track performance closely and regularly

• Conduct presentation to management with deployment of analytics to evaluate investment products performance. Study customer behavior to provide recommendation on enhancing efficiency

• Preparation of business performance dashboard to provide timely update on actual performance, provide suggestion to help improve business performance

• Prepare presentation material for business head to share business performance with senior management, Group management and external parties like the media

• Participate in strategic projects to grow investment business

Requirements

• University degree in Business Management, Banking, Finance or a related discipline OR other relevant qualifications

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in the banking, business planning, analytics or investment management related business

• Fulfillment of the competency requirements to carry out relevant regulated activities as defined under the Securities and Futures Ordinance

• Strong planning, presentation and analytical skills, be sensitive to numbers

• With self-motivation and ability to work independently and under pressure

• Good communication, interpersonal and organizational skills

• Proficiency in English, Chinese and Putonghua
