Principal Responsibilities:
Role holder will be part of the Digital Business & Partnerships team and will play an active role in driving the business outcomes via the SAGE digital platform with primarily but not limited to:
- Leverage HSBC internal data and client non- consent (public data) and consent data APIs for driving multiple business outcomes
- Automate and digitize using data, credit risk and non-financial risk of HSBC portfolio.
- Work with client journey lead and transformation teams to identify manual interventions, bottle necks and duplication of data and replace the same wherever possible & required with digital solutions backed by consent and non-consent data.
- Work with digital journey lead to design digital marketing communication channels for HSBC
- Ensuring quality business outcomes are delivered to the end users by actively participating in the quality assurance process.
- Automated credit data collection, assessment, and pre-approvals of HSBC products.
- Develop credit risk model in collaboration with India partners for Indian MSME segment.
- Work with regulator, partners in sandbox initiatives to test and validate new business opportunities.
- Identify and implement new solutions from government tech infrastructure and India stack.
- Lead the commercialization of the digital platform including roll out plans, stakeholder alignment and channel the feedback for product enhancements.
- Effectively manage the stakeholder, strength the communication and ensure execution of commercialization projects.

Qualifications/Requirements:
Essential:
- Mandatory and Minimum of 5-10 years proven and progressive working experience across credit risk management, data led roles, analytics and in rule-based automation of credit, financial and non-financial risk for wholesale banking.
- Expertise in India stack, India data schemas, data partners, delivering data-based solution.
- Comprehensive knowledge of sector trends and regulatory environment including the regulatory compliance, data laws and digital lending regulations.
- Proven record of assisting new businesses from scratch.
- People management experience, including working with teams across geography and business divisions.
- Strong organizational, analytical, communication, teamwork and influencing skills.
- Strong background in customer facing roles.
- In-depth knowledge of regulations impacting the business and the lending and credit approval process
Desired
- Bachelor’s degree or degree / certification in data analytics, related field, or equivalent experience
- Knowledge in tech, tools for data and analytics
- Understanding of local operating markets and their corresponding span(s) of control within assigned country
- Experience of driving strategic change in a matrix environment
- Extensive product knowledge of Corporate Banking
- Strong knowledge of the Indian digital ecosystem, fin-techs, new economy and emerging themes

- Mandatory to successfully complete Anti-Money Laundering and Sanctions training and post-course assessment, as required.
