Lead the adoption of AI tools across Hang Seng Bank IT teams, uplifting AI literacy and embedding AI into daily workflows with clear governance. Develop and manage the AI engagement model, R&R, and ensure data privacy, security, ethics, and track adoption KPIs. Drive collaboration with business leaders, transformation and engineering teams to identify AI use cases for process improvement, and secure resources and funding. Oversee project management, funding, and resource allocation to align AI initiatives with strategic priorities.

We are currently seeking a high caliber professional to join us as Head of AI Adoption.
Principal responsibilities
- Drive the adoption and effective use of AI tools and solutions within the team, uplifting AI literacy, embedding AI into daily workflows, and ensuring clear engagement and governance models.
- Engagement Model & Governance: Develop and maintain a clear R&R matrix for AI initiatives, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are well-defined across the team. Facilitate regular stakeholder meetings to align on AI strategy and priorities, fostering collaboration and shared understanding. Ensure compliance with data privacy, security, and ethical standards throughout all AI activities. Additionally, monitor and report on AI adoption KPIs to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and demonstrate the impact of AI initiatives.
- Stakeholder Engagement: To drive business leaders, transformation and engineering teams, to identify opportunities and collect user requirement of AI use cases for process improvement.
- Reporting and Advocacy: Establish effective reporting mechanisms to communicate progress and outcomes of AI day to day usage to stakeholders, and advocate for necessary resources and funding.
- Project and Resource Management: Oversee Project management, funding arrangements and resource management to ensure that projects are adequately supported and aligned with strategic priorities.
Requirements
- University degree in Computer Science/Computer Engineering/Information Technology/Information System or related disciplines.
- Significant experience of IT Programme/Project Management.
- Experience in managing IT project in a complex environment, preferably on a regional or global scale.
- Manage a diverse team of IT professionals in delivering growth, regulatory, risk & control and efficiency changes.
- Strong leadership and people management skills and stakeholder management experience
- Good interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to manage in a dynamic and matrix environment
- Great sense of ownership and servicing mindset to ensure efficient and effective customer service processes.
- Proficiency in both English and Chinese (Cantonese & Mandarin)
