Intel Foundry Services is seeking a seasoned market intelligence professional to lead demand planning and strategic analysis for wafer markets. You will develop bottom-up wafer demand models for assigned end markets, analyze drivers such as units, node cadence, architecture, and die sizes, and deliver comprehensive competitive analyses in advanced node foundry markets. The role includes authoring white papers with clear implications and strategic recommendations for Intel Foundry, and collaborating across teams to influence product and capacity decisions. You will work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment requiring clear, English communication and self-direction.

Intel Foundry Services is an independent foundry business dedicated to meeting our customers' unique product needs. As the world's first Open System Foundry, we offer a comprehensive suite of services including wafer fabrication, advanced processing, packaging technology, chiplet solutions, software, and assembly/test capabilities. Our robust ecosystem helps customers build innovative silicon designs and deliver fully customizable end-to-end products from Intel's secure, resilient, and sustainable supply chain.

Note: This position is not eligible for Intel immigration sponsorship.

You will be responsible for, but not limited to:

  • Develop a strong understanding of assigned end markets, leading-edge logic process nodes, advanced packaging technologies, and key IPs.

  • Develop and maintain bottom-up wafer demand models of assigned end markets and gain deep insight into the model's key drivers (underlying units, competitive dynamics, node cadence, D0s, chip architectures, die/tile sizes, etc.).

  • Deliver comprehensive analyses of assigned markets (e.g. AI accelerator, discrete GPU, mobile application, etc.), along with regular updates on the competitive dynamics within the advanced node foundry market.

  • Author insightful white papers on relevant topics, with clear implications and strategic recommendations for Intel Foundry.


Behavioral traits that we are looking for:

  • Highly motivated, collaborative market intelligence professional.

  • Ability to provide exceptional support under tight deadlines.

  • Strong initiative with ability to anticipate needs and exercise sound independent judgment.

  • Adaptability and comfort working independently in ambiguous or changing environments.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Qualifications:

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of work experience in the semiconductor industry and/or semiconductor supply chain (equipment, gas, chemicals).

  • Experience in leading or managing a group of analysts

  • Post graduate degree in business (e.g. MBA), Engineering (e.g., EE, Computer Science), or Science (e.g., Physics, Mathematics, Statistics).

  • Experience working with external parties (e.g., industry analysts, consultants).

  • Well organized, with project management and planning skills.

  • Advanced Excel, PowerPoint, Words, and Power BI skills.


Preferred Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of work experience in the semiconductor foundry market, with a solid understanding of leading-edge process nodes and advanced packaging technologies.

  • 3+ years of work experience as a market intelligence or research analyst.
