The Grains and Oilseeds Analyst will work closely with the Trading team to develop detailed supply and demand models and provide actionable insights on major agricultural commodities like corn, soybeans, and wheat. The role requires strong analytical skills and experience in agricultural commodity markets.
About the Position
We are looking to hire an experienced Grains and Oilseeds Analyst to collaborate closely with our Trading team to build comprehensive supply/demand models for major agricultural markets, develop granular balance sheet analytics, and generate actionable trading insights in corn, soybeans, wheat, and other key agricultural commodities.
About You
- Have 3+ years of analyst experience in agricultural commodities, grains, or related commodity markets
- Strong quantitative modeler with experience in supply/demand fundamentals analysis
- Have a deep understanding of agricultural market seasonality, production cycles, and trade flows
- Highly analytical thinker with proficiency in statistical modeling and scenario analysis
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, collaborative trading environment
- Strong communicator with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable insights
- Coding skills are preferred
- Experience with version control and API development is a plus
