As a Data Scientist in the Business Intelligence team within JPMorgan Private Bank, you will lead analytical initiatives that influence business strategy and drive growth. You will design, build, and deploy predictive models and analytical solutions using both internal and external datasets. Working closely with business, sales, and marketing leaders, you will embed data science into our decision-making framework. You will help identify opportunities for improvement and innovation, supporting our mission to deliver exceptional client outcomes. Your work will directly impact the team’s ability to optimize sales productivity and business development efforts.

Your role will include sourcing and integrating new data, maintaining high standards of data quality, and sharing technical knowledge across the team. Job responsibilities
- Work with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful data science solutions
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models and advanced analytics
- Apply statistical analysis and predictive modeling to extract insights from complex datasets
- Conduct exploratory data analysis to identify trends and opportunities
- Communicate findings and recommendations through visualizations and presentations
- Identify, evaluate, and acquire data from internal and external sources
- Establish and maintain data partnerships and vendor relationships
- Assess data quality and reliability before integration
- Collaborate with engineering teams to implement scalable data pipelines
- Ensure data governance and security protocols across integration processes
- Document technical specifications and integration processes for compliance
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or related technical field
- Three years of experience in data science, machine learning, or advanced analytics roles
- Advanced proficiency in Python and SQL for data extraction, manipulation, and analysis
- Experience with data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with a proven ability to deliver actionable business insights
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Master’s degree in Analytics, Statistics, Data Science, Mathematics, or related field
- Previous experience in financial services or wealth management
- Knowledge of advanced analytics techniques including machine learning and predictive modeling
