Your expertise will be crucial in navigating privacy regulations and fostering a culture of data protection.

 

As a Privacy Operations Lead - Senior Associate within our dynamic team, you will perform hands-on execution of privacy operations tasks while also leading the day-to-day work of analysts. Key responsibilities include executing and maintaining procedures and job-aides in alignment with internal privacy policies/standards/procedures, mailbox management, and routing Individual Rights requests to relevant teams, documentation organization and management, access management and reporting. You will collaborate with internal and external partners to maintain a robust operational process and control environment. Additionally, you will support audit and controls-related activities, including providing evidence, narratives, and presenting walkthroughs.

Job Responsibilities

  • Oversee the execution of and provide hands-on support relating to the day-to-day work assignments and SLA execution of the operations team.
  • Manage and optimize mailbox operations, including triaging, routing, and responding to privacy-related inquiries and requests.
  • Conduct routing reviews to ensure requests are directed to the appropriate teams and handled in accordance with established procedures.
  • Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining procedures and job-aides in compliance with relevant data protection laws and regulations (e.g., GLBA, CCPA).
  • Monitor and ensure compliance with privacy regulations and internal policies.
  • Collaborate with legal, compliance, controls, and other departments to ensure privacy compliance.
  • Monitor and report on risks and escalated issues.
  • Stay current with changes in privacy laws and regulations and update processes and procedures accordingly.
  • Assist the Privacy Operations Manager in the development and implementation of privacy-related projects and initiatives.
  • Complete management reporting related to trends, initiatives, and performance metrics.
  • Participate in audit, compliance, and controls reviews and testing.

 

Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in operations with a background in privacy, data protection, or a related field.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Strong business analysis and analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of integrity and ethical standards.
  • Experience using automation techniques to streamline operational processes.
  • Using Alteryx and AI tools to work with documents, reports, text, and data sets for tasks like summarization, extraction, and analysis.
