Senior Quant Analytics Associate in the Connected Commerce Enablement Analytics team. Delivers data-driven solutions to strengthen fraud and scam prevention and supports the Trust and Security Data work stream. Develops and maintains a data strategy roadmap, translating business priorities into actionable data initiatives and driving adoption of best practices in data management. Monitors and optimizes data processes and analytical models while collaborating with unit managers, end users, developers, and other stakeholders.

As a Quant Analytics Senior Associate within the Connected Commerce Enablement Analytics team, you will deliver data-driven solutions that strengthen fraud and scam prevention efforts. You will collaborate across teams to support the Trust and Security Data work stream, driving innovation and continuous improvement in data strategy.

Job responsibilities

  • Deliver analytical approaches to identify opportunities to improve fraud and scam prevention while balancing customer satisfaction
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive data strategy roadmap in collaboration with Data Owners, Tech, and Product Owners, aligned with business goals and regulatory requirements
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business priorities into actionable data initiatives
  • Drive adoption of best practices in data management and analytics through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing
  • Continuously monitor and optimize data processes, analytical models, and infrastructure for improvement and innovation
  • Bring order to disparate requirements with strong problem-solving and client engagement skills
  • Integrate data discoveries and processes into operational capabilities by collaborating with unit managers, end users, developers, and other stakeholders
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant quantitative field
  • Eight years industry experience in Data and Analytics
  • Experience in digital and/or product analytics with understanding of common digital metrics and definitions
  • Demonstrated ability to define business KPIs and establish measurement frameworks
  • Proficient in modern analytics tools such as SQL, AWS, Hive, Hadoop, Spark, Python, R, and digital behavioral data tools like Adobe Analytics
  • Strong written and oral communication and presentation skills for diverse audiences, including senior leadership
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in project teams, with strong time-management and multi-tasking skills
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Basic knowledge of data mining, quantitative research, and data science techniques such as decision trees, regressions, and machine learning
  • Financial services background
  • Advanced degree in a relevant quantitative field
  • Drive data strategy and analytics to enhance fraud and scam prevention for customer protection and satisfaction.
