As a Quant Analytics Senior Associate in the Branded Card Data & Analytics team, you will develop and implement business intelligence tools and advanced analytical models to enhance card offerings and optimize customer experience. As a Quant Analytics Senior Associate within the Branded Card Data & Analytics team, you will develop and implement business intelligence tools and advanced analytical models to enhance product offerings and optimize customer experience. You will analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform strategic decisions, such as benefits offerings, campaign performance, and customer segmentation. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into product development and marketing strategies, design and conduct experiments, and present actionable recommendations to senior leadership.

You will serve as an analytics consultant for the business, own stakeholder engagements, and stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies. Your work will help drive growth and profitability, ensuring products meet customer needs and regulatory requirements. You’ll thrive in an agile team environment, engaging with a variety of partners to deliver innovative solutions.

Job responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business intelligence tools and advanced analytical models to enhance product offerings and optimize customer experience
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform strategic decisions, such as benefits offerings, campaign performance, and customer segmentation
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, finance, and engineers, to integrate data-driven insights into product development and marketing strategies
  • Design and conduct experiments to test hypotheses and validate models, ensuring products meet customer needs and regulatory requirements
  • Own engagements with stakeholders and serve as an analytics consultant for the business
  • Stay aware of industry trends and emerging technologies, applying innovative approaches to solve complex business problems and drive value
  • Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership, translating complex data insights into actionable business strategies that drive growth and profitability
  • Engage with a variety of partners and work within an agile team environment
  • Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 4+ years experience with an exceptional foundation in statistical analysis and machine learning, including proficiency in techniques such as regression analysis, clustering, and classification
  • Extensive experience with programming languages commonly used in data science, such as Python and R, for data manipulation and model development
  • Proficiency in data visualization tools, such as Tableau or Power BI, to effectively communicate complex data insights to stakeholders
  • Solid understanding of database management systems, particularly SQL, for querying and managing data
  • Experience working with big data and developing predictive models in a business context
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into data-driven solutions
  • Experience in working collaboratively within cross-functional teams to integrate data insights into business strategies
  • Excellent communication and soft skills
  • Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in the financial services industry, particularly in credit card analytics
  • Familiarity with agile methodologies and working within agile teams
  • Ability to adapt to changing business needs and priorities
