As a Marketing Analytics Analyst – Business Intelligence within Asset and Wealth Management, you will partner across product, sales, and marketing to build and deliver a 360° client view through client analytics and performance reporting. You will work closely with business and marketing management to measure the health of the business, make informed data-driven strategic recommendations, and deliver intelligence directly into the hands of product, sales, and marketing teams. The ideal candidate has experience working with large data sets, is highly driven, detail-oriented, analytical, organized, and an effective communicator. 

The Global Business Intelligence and Analytics team has grown exponentially over the last 10 years as the organization has matured from data-guided to data-driven. Our team’s input is critical not only in the analysis stage of objective-setting but also through the enablement and execution of those objectives. The team’s remit spans developing sales/marketing enablement applications, data modeling, sales and marketing strategy, predictive analytics, and more. This unique position requires all team members to be technically proficient, strategic, curious, outcome-oriented, and excellent narrators. 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Deliver analytical insights that provide a 360° view of client behavior and performance across product, sales, and marketing to inform audience targeting, product positioning, campaign planning, and investment decisions for management priorities. 

  • Build and maintain enablement tools that curate key recommendations to product, sales, and marketing teams, unifying data across CRM, product usage/adoption, pipeline, and marketing engagement. 

  • Develop and operationalize client 360 dashboards and segmentation frameworks to support distribution and growth objectives. 

  • Drive new AI enablement insights, capabilities, and processes. 

  • Conduct data analyses and prototype basic statistical or machine learning models (e.g., propensity, churn, next-best-action). 

  • Work with technology teams to define data strategy and build data models, including data lineage and governance exercises, and integrate new data sources where needed. 

  • Translate insights into actionable recommendations aligned to business strategy, with emphasis on the Alternatives growth agenda. 

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • BA/BS degree – major/minor in business, analytics, data science, AI, or related fields plus 2+ years of coding experience (Python, PySpark, and SQL) 

  • Familiarity with Asset Management and/or distribution organizations 

  • Comfort working in agile product teams 

  • Experience developing KPIs, especially for campaign and marketing functions 

  • A highly effective communicator and adept at stakeholder management 

  • Comfort in working flexibly and iteratively with large sets of data 

  • Strong analytical skills 

  • AI literacy and understanding, particularly for enabling new intelligence and sales tools 

  • Multi-talented, high-energy individual that will help create, coordinate, and execute on our strategic priorities across sales, analytics, and technology 

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills 

  • Interest in roles within data analytics/strategy; asset management preferred 

  • Strong time management and organizational skills 

  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities, requirements, and timelines by utilizing problem-solving skills 

  • Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint; SQL and/or Python experience strongly preferred 

  • Dashboard development and visualization: proficient in designing, building, and maintaining interactive dashboards using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Qlik to effectively communicate insights and analyses to stakeholders 

  • Any prior experience in the Alternatives investment industry or Asset Management industry is a plus
