As a Vice President within QIS Solutions in London, you will set the strategic direction for our business and help deliver best-in-class systematic strategies to institutional clients. Job responsibilities
- Participate in setting the strategic agenda for the QIS Solutions business, identifying emerging market trends and investment themes to drive product innovation and business growth.
- Lead and participate in client meetings, pitches, and roadshows, articulating JPMorgan’s QIS capabilities and value proposition to institutional investors.
- Oversee the development and customization of systematic index strategies, ensuring alignment with client objectives and market opportunities.
- Guide and participate in the creation of marketing materials, market updates, and performance analyses, ensuring high standards and consistency across all client-facing content.
- Lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, trading, quantitative research, legal, compliance, and technology teams to deliver seamless client solutions and execute complex transactions.
- Mentor and develop junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence, innovation, and client-centricity.
- Drive the technology and systems agenda for the business, partnering with key stakeholders to enhance platform capabilities and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and analyze performance across the firm’s systematic strategy offerings, providing insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders.
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Extensive experience in quantitative investment strategies, index solutions, or related fields, with a proven track record of leadership and business development.
- Strong strategic vision and ability to identify and capitalize on market trends and client needs.
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills, with experience engaging at the most senior client and internal levels.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Deep understanding of systematic strategies, risk factor investing, and portfolio construction.
- Highly proficient in Bloomberg, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills
- Advanced degree in a quantitative or finance-related discipline.
- Programming experience is strongly preferred.
- Experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
