As a Software Engineer II at JPMorgan Chase within CCB Fin, you will be part of an agile team that enhances, designs, and delivers software components for the firm’s state-of-the-art technology products in a secure, stable, and scalable way. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in Python, large language models (LLMs), agentic systems, and full stack development to build innovative solutions and drive the adoption of advanced AI technologies.

Job Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable software solutions using Python and modern full stack technologies.
• Build and integrate large language models (LLMs) and AI/ML components to enhance product functionality and user experience.
• Architect and implement agentic systems and autonomous workflows to drive intelligent automation within applications.
• Develop robust front-end interfaces using Angular, ensuring responsive and intuitive user experiences.
• Create and maintain secure, efficient back-end services and APIs.
• Leverage cloud platforms (such as AWS, Azure, or GCP) for application deployment, scalability, and reliability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality technology solutions in an agile environment.
• Participate in code reviews, troubleshooting, and optimization of software components.
• Ensure best practices in software engineering, including security, stability, and performance.
• Stay current with emerging technologies in AI, cloud, and full stack development to continuously improve team capabilities.

 

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Formal training or certification on software engineering concepts and 2+ years applied experience
• Hands-on practical experience in system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
• Experience in developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languages
• Hands-on experience designing and implementing agentic systems or autonomous workflows
• Demonstrable ability to code in one or more languages
• Experience across the whole Software Development Life Cycle
• Exposure to agile methodologies such as CI/CD, Application Resiliency, and Security
• Emerging knowledge of software applications and technical processes within a technical discipline (e.g., cloud, artificial intelligence, machine learning, mobile, etc.)

 

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

• Familiarity with modern front-end technologies, Databricks
• Familiarity with containerization (Docker), and orchestration (Kubernetes)
