As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within an agile team, you will be an integral part of designing, building, and delivering trusted, market-leading technology products. You will apply your technical expertise and problem-solving skills to architect and implement scalable, secure, and high-quality machine learning solutions that drive business value.

Job Responsibilities

Provide technical guidance and direction to business units, engineering teams, contractors, and vendors.

Serve as a subject matter expert in one or more areas of AI and machine learning.

Advise executive leadership with strategic recommendations on machine learning initiatives.

Develop secure, high-quality production code and review code written by others to ensure best practices.

Promote software and model quality, integrity, and security across the organization.

Influence product design, application functionality, and technical operations through informed decision-making.

Architect and oversee the development of advanced machine learning models and systems.

Ensure platforms support complex use cases, including real-time predictions, big data processing, and advanced analytics.

Drive innovation in machine learning solutions, focusing on scalability, flexibility, and future-proof architecture.

Advocate for and contribute to firmwide frameworks, tools, and Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.

Engage with the engineering community to promote best practices and continuous improvement.\

Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with 3+ years of applied experience.

Proven experience in Python, SDLC, Microservices, Devops, CI/CD, Junit, Kfka, AWS Cloud (Lamnda, ECs, Gluw, SQS etc.), Fullstack

Proven experience in technical leadership and providing guidance to engineering teams.

Strong expertise in developing, reviewing, and debugging secure, high-quality production code.

Deep knowledge of machine learning, big data processing, and advanced analytics.

Experience architecting scalable and flexible machine learning platforms.

Demonstrated ability to drive innovation and influence technology adoption.

Excellent communication skills, with the ability to advise executive leadership.

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills

Experience in the financial services industry, especially in consumer and community banking.

Familiarity with firmwide frameworks, tools, and SDLC best practices.

Track record of contributing to the engineering community and promoting best practices.

Good to have experience in RAG, AI/Agents, NLU/NLP, LLM
