As a Vice President on the AI/ML Governance team within the Commercial & Investment Bank, you will drive strategic initiatives that promote responsible AI/ML and Generative AI model development. You will collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to ensure best practices, tools, and controls are in place for effective implementation. Your role will help foster a culture of innovation and compliance, supporting the team’s mission to advance AI/ML priorities across the organization.
Job Responsibilities:
- Support the expansion of analytics owner and governance roles globally
- Serve as a subject-matter expert, guiding on AI regulatory expectations, best practices, and internal standards
- Partner with experts in Data Science, Architecture, Engineering, and Data to assess impacts of new policies and manage implementation plans
- Provide support and partnership to Controls Management regarding AI/ML risks and governance through business control forums
- Prepare and deliver executive-level presentations and status updates to senior leadership and committees
- Provide central support for client AI inquiries, offering insights on governance policies and practices
- Act as liaison and quality control point between control managers and business lines for audit, regulatory, and client requests

- Demonstrate program and change management expertise
- Exhibit strong organizational skills and ability to drive multiple workstreams in a dynamic environment
- Communicate technical and regulatory requirements clearly to executive audiences
- Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at all levels

Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills:
- Experience in AI governance, model risk management, data governance, compliance, or operational risk
- Financial services expertise in markets, banking, securities services, or treasury/payments
