The Deposit Pricing Analytics Associate will support the Global Head of Pricing by developing and maintaining an analytical source of truth for deposit data and driving pricing strategy for Wealth Management deposits. The role involves building models and analytical workflows to evaluate pricing impacts on volumes and net interest income, performing quantitative analysis to recommend rate changes, and leading technology/process improvements for pricing tools. The position requires strong SQL and Python skills (plus SAS, Tableau, Alteryx), 4+ years of financial services analytics experience, and the ability to communicate findings to stakeholders.

Location: New York, NY, United States

Reporting to the Global Head of Pricing, the Deposit Pricing Associate supports the Banking Practice by contributing to analytical projects and key business initiatives.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and institutionalize process to maintain an analytical source of truth for deposits data – account/client attributes & performance every month, for new and existing book.
  2. Apply data-driven approaches to help create, refresh, and maintain pricing strategies for all deposit products in GPB’s global deposit business.
  3. Perform in-depth analysis of prevailing pricing across clients and products, leveraging quantitative techniques & frameworks, to recommend rate changes and present findings at scheduled forums.
  4. Own intent in technology projects to revamp pricing screens, controls & deposit placement tickets, increase efficiency and build more data controls.
  5. Design, build, and maintain advanced models and analytical workflows to evaluate the impact of pricing changes on book volumes and net interest income, supporting incremental profitability assessments.
  6. Collaborate with other business lines to understand and align pricing strategies, sharing analytical insights to support decision-making.

Required Qualifications, capabilities & skills:

  1. 4+ years of experience in financial services, with a strong focus on analytics supporting the Banking business.
  2. Background in financial services/deposits/lending & treasury, ideally within Wealth Management, with hands-on experience in data analysis and modelling.
  3. Structured problem solving – Identify issues, define clear problem statements, arrive at hypotheses, develop frameworks, pull data to unambiguously prove or disprove these hypotheses.
  4. Storyboarding & Presentation – Strong written and verbal communication skills to communicate problem-solving approach, framework and recommendations.
  5. Data & Quantitative analysis – Strong proficiency with SQL, Python, SAS, Tableau, Alteryx, and MS Office suite including Excel, PowerPoint
  6. Intellectual curiosity – demonstrated eagerness/aptitude to learn about global macroeconomics, short-term yield trends, recent developments in analytical modelling that study client behavior.
  7. Team player with positive attitudes towards new tasks, dealing with obstacles in daily tasks, details oriented and willingness to put in additional efforts.

Preferred Qualifications, capabilities & skills:

  1. Strategic and analytical thinker with a drive towards execution and results.
  2. Influencing skills to manage a variety of stakeholders from different functions.
  3. Team player who proactively shares knowledge and information within and outside the function and can manage other team members.
