About the department
In Commercial Concepts & Analytics, we drive the commercial agenda across TxB towards Tribes, LC&I and Advisory Banking, and orchestrate a wide range of touchpoints with our customers. Our focus is to improve existing commercial activities and support the go-to-market of new offerings and products for existing and potential customers.
We collaborate directly with different business areas including Advisory Banking, LC&I, Tribes and MarCom. Our team is organised around the commercial insights with specialists in go-to-market, tenders and analytics to ensure alignment on prioritisation and fast time-to-impact.
About the role
As a Principal Consultant, you will play a central role in supporting prioritisation, setting the commercial direction with our teams and ensuring stakeholder alignment, so we meet our goals for TxB. You will also be a central catalyst in Commercial Concepts & Analytics, helping create commercial momentum and a clear direction for the department’s work. You will report to the Head of Commercial Concepts & Analytics and be responsible for preparing and communicating insight-rich proposals and presentations and supporting strategic planning with strong business understanding and financial perspectives.
You will:
- Lead strategic problem solving and commercial analytics engagements end to end, from opportunity framing and hypothesis design to implementation and impact tracking build on commercial analytics.
- Translate analytical insights into clear commercial initiatives, business cases and go-to-market plans across LC&I segments.
- Identify new revenue opportunities through value proposition enhancements, cross-sell, channel optimisation and customer journey improvements.
- Establish robust KPI frameworks and performance tracking to guide prioritisation, assess impact and inform iteration.
- Prepare and facilitate executive decision forums, articulating recommendations and trade-offs with a clear storyline.
About you:
- Background from top-tier consulting with +5 years in the financial sector, ideally spanning corporate banking, transaction banking or strategy.
- Deep understanding of data analytics with the ability to synthesise quantitative and qualitative insights into clear recommendations.
- Demonstrated end-to-end experience from concept creation to implementation, including building business cases and delivering measurable impact.
- Strong ability to spot revenue opportunities and turn them into actionable initiatives.
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity, structuring complex problems and driving momentum in multi-disciplinary teams.
