Key Responsibilities:
You will be joining an ambitious team that combines data science, user experience and strategy to explore new ideas, validate opportunities, and deliver real value. You will be surrounded by people who are collaborative, curious, and passionate – and you will be trusted to bring your own structure, empathy, and ideas to the table.
Your key responsibilities will be performing data science on Databricks within our AI Lab to explore, validate and build prototypes for high-value data and AI use cases. You will be working as part of a team of specialists equipped with an AI and Data Science toolbox designed to solve business problems. Support the acceleration of the AI strategy by making AI practical and collaborating with teams across Danske Bank to achieve measurable outcomes for the business and our customers.
Who We Are Looking For:
We are seeking a candidate with a strong background in a quantitative field such as Data Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Physics, etc. Furthermore, it is a plus if you can demonstrate that you have a curious business mindset.
We expect you to bring the following:
- Proficiency with Python and traditional Data Science libraries such as scitkit-learn, PyTorch and PySpark. Furthermore, it is an advantage if you have familiarity with modern ML platforms - Our current tech stack includes Databricks, MLflow and Openshift.
- Experience working with SQL and data processing methods as preparation for testing and evaluating a Machine Learning method.
- Experience with traditional software management such as git or devops.
- An eye for the visual touch and presentation - whether illustrating analytical results or developing prototype applications that showcase the potential of a solution.
- Problem first mindset that thrives in a “lab environment” where we continuously perform hypothesis driven tests to understand the feasibility of an approach that solves an important problem.
- Collaboration always – you enjoy working in a team and do not hold back on your ideas.
