Join Danske Bank's GenAI Tribe, Data Science in the Technology & Services area to design, develop, monitor and continually improve AI agents used across the bank. Within T&S, you’ll find specialists across a wide range of fields such as, GenAI, digital delivery, Services, Data & Analytics, Security, Procurement and more. Together with colleagues across other business units, we play a pivotal role in shaping Danske Bank’s future and turning our Forward ’28 ambitions into reality.
Key Responsibilities:
You will contribute to the design, development, monitoring and continual improvement of AI agents used across Danske Bank. You will work directly with models and tools, evaluate performance thoughtfully, and help ensure that every solution is reliable, safe and aligned with regulation. You will collaborate closely with colleagues from different disciplines as ideas progress from prototypes to fully supported solutions.
Your work will include:
- Designing, implementing and refining AI agents for colleague and customer use cases
- Developing evaluation approaches, metrics and monitoring systems that help us understand agent performance, safety and potential drift
- Working with product, engineering, risk and compliance teams to deploy and evolve agents in production
- Exploring new technologies such as platforms, services and libraries and writing up your assessments of them to help guide larger architectural choices
- Contributing to shared standards for GenAI delivery, including testing, observability, documentation and lifecycle management
- Driving processes with a lot of autonomy, communicating technical concepts to non-technical audiences and management

As Danske Bank’s centre for generative AI, we focus on building safe, transparent solutions that support colleagues and customers. Partnering with product teams, engineers, risk specialists and compliance, we turn complex challenges into practical outcomes.
Education:
Master’s degree in computer science or similar (preferred)
Core skills:
- Familiarity with GenAI/LLM technologies
- Programming
- Solution Design Strong communication skills
Preferred experience:
- Python libraries for AI agent development (e.g. LangGraph, Strands, crew.ai)
- Tools to evaluate AI agents (e.g. Arize Phoenix, LangFuse)
- Working in a Cloud environment (e.g. AWS, Azure, GCP)
