Your Impact

As an analytics intern in our Analytics Graduate Program, you’ll be at the heart of transformative projects, working in dynamic, multi-disciplinary teams to harness the power of data, machine learning, Gen AI and Agentic AI.

Your insights will shape the strategies of leading organizations worldwide, driving meaningful change and unlocking new levels of performance. Over the course of 10 months, you will join client service teams, contributing to workstreams to help solve some of the toughest challenges our clients face.

We will expect you to go the extra mile, delivering solutions that solve immediate problems and drive long-term change and we’ll rely on your judgment and integrity to ensure our recommendations are effective and long-lasting.

You will take on a role that goes beyond advising. You’ll be at the heart of the action—helping to uncover the true challenges behind a client’s strategy and creating actionable plans that drive real change. Working alongside clients and other McKinsey colleagues, you’ll combine research, analyzing data, interviews, and brainstorming to generate fresh insights and breakthrough solutions.

You will solve real-world problems where you will dive into complex and diverse datasets from some of the world’s largest organizations to tackle pressing challenges. You will build cutting-edge solutions while developing high-quality data science products and solutions for clients and contributing to innovative assets for our internal teams. You will also collaborate across disciplines while working closely with our consultants and data engineering team to design and implement advanced models as well as present your findings and recommendations to stakeholders, empowering them to make data-driven decisions that matter.

You will gain hands-on experience across a variety of industries and sectors, exploring the diverse applications of data science. You will master the art of building sustainable, scalable, and secure data solutions, while adhering to high-quality coding standards and frameworks, while using cutting-edge tools to stay ahead of the curve with access to the latest data science tools, techniques, and technologies, supported by world-class learning programs. You will hone your communication, problem-solving, and presentation abilities to become a trusted advisor to clients.

The Analytics Graduate Program is a 10-month immersive experience beginning in August 2026 and designed for early-career professionals eager to accelerate their growth. Based in our Casablanca office, you’ll be part of the broader Client Capabilities Hub in Africa, working on McKinsey client projects alongside our consultants.

Throughout the program, you’ll build critical skills in leadership, analytics, and business strategy, while receiving mentorship, sponsorship, and developmental guidance from firm leaders.

While we advocate for using the right tech for the right task, we often leverage the following technologies: Python, PySpark, the PyData stack, SQL, Airflow, Databricks, our own open-source data pipelining framework called Kedro, Dask/RAPIDS, container technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes, cloud solutions such as AWS, GCP, and Azure, and more!

Your qualifications and skills

Bachelors or Masters level in a discipline such as: computer science, machine learning, applied statistics, mathematics, engineering or artificial intelligence, with a strong academic record
0-2 years of professional experience in applying machine learning and data mining techniques to real problems with copious amounts of data. Experience (academic or otherwise) with data science tools and programming languages R and/or Python (must), SPSS, SAS, Ruby, Hadoop (valued)
Ability to independently own and drive model development, balancing demands and deadlines
Natural talent for analytics and a keen interest in building skills across data modelling, engineering, visualization, and prototype design
Passion for solving challenging & ambiguous problems with a desire to learn and grow
Demonstrated leadership skills and a collaborative mindset
Excitement about working across diverse client organizations and business functions
