As a Specialist, you will deliver expertise, insights, and tailored GenAI solutions to clients across the Asia region, collaborating with client service teams to shape problem-solving approaches. You will work with the GenAI Center of Excellence to identify high-impact use cases and encode insights into reusable knowledge assets. Based in Chennai, you will help educate colleagues, contribute to capability development, and lead cell-level initiatives for the Chennai hub. The role also focuses on building relationships with stakeholders and driving innovation in GenAI-enabled client projects.

Your qualifications and skills
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience in a technology-related space plus a Post-graduate OR advanced degree in a relevant area (typically MBA, MS, M.Tech)
- Experience with data analysis and use of no-code/low-code analytics platforms (e.g., Knime) is beneficial
- Strong technical acumen with a sound understanding of emerging technologies (e.g., LLMs, Copilot, etc.) and their practical applications in the workplace
- Entrepreneurial self-starter that enjoys the challenges and rewards of research work, juggles high-level priorities in a dynamic and changing environment with the ability
- Strong business awareness: perspective on local markets particularly demographic/business/economic trends is good to have
- Solid understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts and terminology
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills
- Inspiring people leader - committed people developer, enables cohesive and collaborative team culture, fosters innovation
- Willing to work in a highly demanding and result-oriented team environment
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and build relationships within the team and with multiple stakeholders at all levels within McKinsey
- Excellent English written and verbal communication skills; ability to communicate complex ideas effectively
