Join McKinsey as a Capabilities & Insights Analyst - Banking within the EEMA CCN to research and provide coverage on banking topics for the Middle East region. You will collaborate with local and regional analysts and contribute to market insights on macroeconomy, public/private sector, and client capability development. You will leverage data-backed diagnostics and proprietary assets while receiving mentorship to accelerate your growth in a fast-paced, global consulting environment. This role offers exposure to a broad set of industries, capabilities, and tools across a diverse client base.

Your Impact
You will be part of our EEMA (Eastern Europe, Middle East & Asia) Client Capabilities Network (CCN). You will work closely with local team colleagues with whom you will be collaborating daily. Additionally, you will interact with a wide range of analysts from the Middle East region.
Your focus will be on providing research and coverage on a wide range of topics related to banking for the Middle East region. Within the team, you will be a part of the capability providing insights on market including macro economy, public and private sector. McKinsey leaders will provide sponsorship and mentor you to build your capabilities.
Over 8,000 McKinsey client capabilities professionals across the globe work alongside our consultants to deliver change that matters to our clients. They collaborate with consultant teams, both remotely and at client sites, in an agile and targeted way. Further, they are core to our firm’s R&D, development of new knowledge, building of proprietary capabilities as assets and data sets.

Your qualifications and skills
- Bachelor’s degree; knowledge of banking/finance/economics/business
- 1+ years of experience in research and analysis for business decision making
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to accomplish work in fast-paced and dynamic environments
- Ability to work well in a team setting and across all levels within an organization
- Demonstrated relevant research experience in an academic or business setting
- Proficiency with GenAI for core tasks (e.g. research, basic analytics, simple task automation, communication refinement), AI risk awareness
