Join McKinsey's Client Capabilities Office in Wroclaw as a Knowledge Analyst – Procurement, contributing to the Centre of Procurement Excellence for Operations. You will support end-to-end procurement optimization—covering strategic sourcing, supplier collaboration, and value‑capture initiatives—with a focus on spend analysis, should-cost modeling, and contract analysis. The role spans multiple industries with emphasis on European Union engagements and requires extensive travel (over 60%), and sits at Knowledge Analyst or Senior Knowledge Analyst level depending on experience. You will also help develop procurement capabilities, tools, and knowledge assets and support client proposals and delivery.

Your qualifications and skills
- Bachelor's degree in engineering/technology; master's degree preferred, MBA in operations advantageous
- 1+ years of experience in procurement or consulting
- Expertise in the following areas: sourcing, supplier management, category management, costing, negotiations and PO management
- Experience with e-procurement tools (spend analysis, RFQ tools, costing, eAuctions) is advantageous
- Proficient in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and relevant analytics/statistical software
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills; ability to identify root causes and solutions
- Solid business knowledge and understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts
- Strong interpersonal skills, team player, intellectually curious, excellent communication skills
- Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English, as well as in one of the following languages: German, Italian, French, or Spanish
