NVIDIA is seeking an outstanding computer vision and deep learning researcher to join the vision and learning research team. You will research, design and implement novel techniques for 3D computer vision, including pose estimation and localization, and publish original research. You will mentor PhD students and interns and collaborate with internal teams and external researchers to uncover research needs. A PhD in CS/Engineering/Mathematics is required, along with strong CV/DL expertise and proficiency in Python (C/CUDA and PyTorch a plus).

NVIDIA is searching for an outstanding computer vision and deep learning researcher to join the dynamic vision and learning research team. We are passionate about research that pushes boundaries but also has impact in the real world!

What you’ll be doing:

  • Research, design and implement novel techniques for 3D computer vision, including pose estimation and localization.

  • Publish original research.

  • Mentor PhD students and interns.

  • Collaborate with other teams and uncover research needs within NVIDIA.

  • Collaborate with external researchers.

What we need to see:

  • Must hold a Ph.D. in, e.g., Computer Science/Engineering, Mathematics. Indicate expected graduation if you still have not defended your thesis.

  • Excellent knowledge of theory and practice of computer vision methods, as well as deep learning.

  • Excellent programming skills in some rapid prototyping environment such as Python; C++ and parallel programming (e.g., CUDA) is a plus.

  • Knowledge of common machine learning frameworks, such as PyTorch.

  • Outstanding research track record.

  • Outstanding publication record in computer vision, regularly published at top venues CVPR, ICCV, ECCV, NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR.

  • Excellent communications skills.

  • Good knowledge of version control systems, e.g., git.
